Welcome to Zocko (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using our app and services (“Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read carefully before using Zocko.

1. Eligibility & Age Restriction

You must be at least 13 years old to use Zocko. If you are under 16, you must have parental or guardian consent to use our Services. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we discover that data from a child under 13 was collected without consent, we will promptly delete it.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children’s use of Zocko. By using the Services, you confirm you meet these age requirements.

2. Account Registration & Security

You must create an account to use Zocko and provide accurate, truthful information. Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account.

3. Description of Services

Zocko provides a secure, end-to-end encrypted messaging platform and a peer-to-peer marketplace where users can trade goods and services directly.

4. Peer-to-Peer Trading & Payments

  • Zocko only facilitates peer-to-peer trading between users; we are not a party to these transactions.

  • All buying, selling, or trading is conducted solely between users.

  • Payments are processed via trusted third-party payment providers such as Stripe Connect. Zocko does not hold, process, or manage your funds directly.

  • You acknowledge and agree that Zocko is not responsible for the quality, legality, safety, or any disputes related to traded goods or services.

  • Users must comply with all applicable laws in their jurisdiction when using trading features.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use Zocko lawfully and respectfully. Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Transmitting illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or offensive content

  • Harassment, threats, or abuse of other users

  • Infringing on others’ intellectual property or rights

  • Using Zocko for scams or unauthorized commercial activity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these terms.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy matters. Please read our Privacy Policy for details on data collection, use, and protection. Zocko complies with UK GDPR and applicable data protection laws.

7. International Data Transfers

Zocko is based in the UK. Your data may be processed and stored in the UK, EEA, and other countries, including the U.S. Transfers outside the UK/EEA comply with UK GDPR requirements, including Standard Contractual Clauses and adequacy decisions where applicable.

By using our Services, you consent to international data transfers as described.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in Zocko and its content are owned or licensed by us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior permission.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • Zocko provides Services “as is” without warranties of any kind.

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service.

  • We are not liable for user-generated content, transactions, or third-party integrations.

  • To the fullest extent allowed by law, Zocko’s total liability to you is limited to any fees you have paid us.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Zocko harmless against claims arising from your use of the Services or breach of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violating these Terms or legal reasons.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in UK courts.
